Woven

Shapes in red, maroon, and burnt orange press against one another, separate but never fully apart held together by a single unbroken line that threads through every form, binding what could easily have fallen into chaos. At the center, one pale shape sits still, untouched by the tension around it. Woven is about the connections that don't ask permission family, ancestry, the ties passed down before you had a say in them. Some threads you choose. Others were already running through you long before you noticed they were there.
