Eye Of The Storm

Lightning splits the sky behind her, wind tearing petals loose from every branch in sight and still, she kneels perfectly still, cradling a glowing sopera vessel between both hands like it's the only steady thing left in the world. Eye of the Storm channels Oyá, the orisha of wind and sudden, necessary change the force that clears out what's dead to make room for what's next. This isn't a woman caught in chaos. She's the reason it's happening. What she holds in her hands isn't shelter from the storm. It's the source of it.
